Pay attention to food safety

This past weekend I was in a local grocer who offered a wine-tasting.  Usually, during the wine tastings, cheese and crackers are for sample.  Well, this lady (not an employee of the grocer) set up her table of wine, crackers and cheese and placed her bare hands in the bag to arrange the crackers on her platter.  I was in shock.  I felt like time stopped so I could have a mental fit and not embarrass myself with my mouth ajar and the look of utter disdain.   When time restarted, an employee walked by me and I told her what I witnessed and she was on the search for a manager.
